Experts call for optimum utilisation of biomass energy

Speakers at a workshop called for optimum utilisation of biomass as an alternative source of energy to reduce pressure on the fast-declining forest resources, reports UNB.
They emphasised on a long-term vision and a commitment for proper dissemination of technological knowledge among the users of biomass energy.
The workshop on "Identification and Involvement of Stakeholders in Full Scale GEF Project" was jointly organised by the Sustainable Rural Energy (SRE) Project of LGED and the FAO at the LGED seminar room in the city Sunday.
