SUB, Tribhuvan University sign MoU

State University of Bangladesh (SUB) and Tribhuvan University of Nepal signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) recently.
Tribhuvan University of Nepal is the oldest university with multidisciplinary faculties, said a press release.
SUB Vice Chancellor MS Ilyas Dhami and Tribhuvan University Vice Chancellor Govind Prasad Sharma signed the MOU on behalf of their respective universities.
Five members of the two institutions were present at the signing ceremony.
The SUB was represented by its Vice President Mahbubur Rahman, adviser of School of Health Sciences Shahjahan, adviser of Bangladesh Institute of Medical and Dental Technology (BIMDT) ASM Mushior Rahman.
The Tribhuvan University was represented by Centre for International Relations Executive Director Shrestha, Registrar Sitararn Adhikary and Rector Mahendra Singh.
Under this MoU, both the universities will exchange educational information, researcher, students and professionals, collaborate and organise joint symposia and conferences and arrange annual workshops between two the universities.
This MoU will enable the two universities to apply for international grants from entities like CIDA, USAID, JICA and WHO.
The joining of these two institutions will open up new windows of opportunities for students and educators across the country. Through this MoU, SUB hopes to strengthen the academic and research aspects of both the universities.
