BNP programmes on Shaheed Day

Ruling BNP has chalked out a daylong programmes to observe the Great Shaheed Day and International Mother Language Day on February 21(Tuesday), reports UNB.
A party press release said as a part of the programmes black flags will be hoisted at party offices while the national and the party flags will be hoisted at half mast.
A 'provat ferry' will be brought out from in front of the Balaka Cinema at 6.00am. The BNP leaders and workers will visit the graves of the language martyrs to offer fateha, place wreaths and pay tributes to the Central Shaheed Minar. A discussion and cultural function will be held at the Ramna Batamul at 3:00pm.
Besides, different district and thana committees will organise 'provat ferry', discussions and cultural functions in observance of the day.
