2/20/2006

Awami League (AL) presidium member, former minister Abdur Razzak, MP, said politics has become difficult for the politicians due to the domination of black money and criminalisation of politics, reports BDNEWS.
General Zia had tainted politics by allowing black money holders and businessmen into the domain of politics, he alleged.
He was speaking at a condolence meeting on Aminul Islam Danesh, veteran politician, an organiser of the Liberation War, former lawmaker and AL central committee member Sunday afternoon organised by the Jhajira Foundation at the BCIC auditorium with Foundation acting president Md Shamsul Haque Khan in the chair.
Abdur Razzak, who was the chief guest at the condolence meeting, said, "We have lost an uncompromising political leader at the death of Aminul Islam and it is an immense loss for the country and its people."
