RAB recovers AK-47, revolver, cocktails in city

A team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) recovered an AK-47 assault rifle, a revolver and eight cocktails from the city's Railway Colony under Motijheel police jurisdiction early Monday, reports UNB.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB-3 raided a flat of the colony at South Shahjahanpur Sunday and arrested Shahidul Islam Yousuf (28), a listed criminal, sources said. Yusuf was wanted by police in three cases.
He disclosed about dumping of his firearms, they said. According to his statement, the RAB team raided the colony early Monday and recovered a shutter-gun, one revolver and 14 rounds of bullet from an old pump house.
